New Blog.. Who dis?
Updated: Oct 1, 2019
If you found this blog through my Instagram page then you're probably curious who I am. Over the past few years, I have been almost completely anonymous, and while it's been pretty fun seeing comments like "Amazing shot, dude" or "Awesome feed, man." I think it's time to show you who I really am!
Hi guys! So you're probably wondering... who is behind @traveling_little? or previously known as @Chicago_Photography? In the past, I never really showed who I was in my posts because I wanted to focus my content on the beauty of Chicago. My Instagram wasn't about how many followers or likes I could get, it was really a creative platform where I could share my photography and my adventures through my college years while exploring one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Recently I have struggled to decide what direction I wanted to take my Instagram in, as I'm sure you have noticed my content ranges from Chicago skyscrapers to Santorini beaches. Over the past year of my life, I've had the most amazing opportunities to visit incredible places and I wanted to be able to share that with others. This is why I've finally decided to take the jump, follow my passions, and FINALLY start a blog.
I started my Instagram page back in March of 2016 while I was a junior at DePaul University. From the time I started my page I had people telling me that I should start a blog but I never thought I was capable of writing interesting content. It's taken me over TWO YEARS to take action on this opportunity. It blows my mind that for years, the only thing holding me back was myself. I've watched countless influencer videos speaking to how it always seems impossible until it is done. Moving past self-doubt and the fear of being judged or embarrassed by strangers is the hardest yet one of the most important things you can accomplish.
That being said, below I've posted photos from all over the world including Chicago, Greece, Iceland, Italy, and Turkey. Within the next few weeks, I will be posting blogs about each of my trips and various Chicago topics. I'm certainly open to new suggestions so please feel free to leave a comment to suggest future blog topics!
